The Career Wardrobe celebrated its 10th Anniversary serving women throughout the Philadelphia Region in 2004-05. Below is a recap of projects completed to commemorate this milestone!

A Big Dill: The World's Largest Handbag

Viv Pickle Custom Handbags created the World's Largest Handbag to commemorate The Career Wardrobe's 10th Anniversary! Displayed from July 9-11, 2006 at 30th Street Station in conjunction with a handbag drive collecting hundreds of handbags for our clients... it truly was a Big Dill!

Shopping Days

Lots of great boutiques sponsored discount days, receptions, and hosted accessory drives throughout the region and 10% of their proceeds benefited The Career Wardrobe! Relationships that began with our 10th Anniversary continue to raise thousands of dollars each year to support our mission and programs.

Story of a Suit

Every suit tells a story and to celebrate our 10th Anniversary, The Career Wardrobe hosted the 'Story of a Suit' Photography Exhibit to tell the stories of ten inspirational women... and their suits! The black and white images used throughout this site are part of the Story of a Suit exhibition (courtesy of Jeff Holder).

A Perfect Fit: Empowering Women for 10 Years

'A Perfect Fit: Empowering Women for 10 Years' was held at Top of the Tower, Center City, Philadelphia on June 8, 2006. Fashion show models included Amzie Daniels (right) who started as an intern with The Career Wardrobe and is now an employee, taking a leadership role in the creation of The Wardrobe Boutique, an upscale resale store to benefit The Career Wardrobe.
