For more information, call (215) 751-8193 or http://www.ccp.edu/site/prospective/opportunity_now.php
Eligibility Requirements

- Applicant must have been laid off permanently or indefinitely from a full-time "non-seasonal" position.
- Applicant must have a letter from the former employer on official company stationery stating the actual date of the layoff and a statement that the former employee lost a "non-seasonal" full-time job through no fault of his or her own, but due to the economic climate. The applicant must also supply a copy of his/her last pay stub.
- Applicant will follow the regular admissions, advising and registration procedures. College staff will assist students in an attempt to secure the necessary financial aid to continue further studies.

- Applications must be received and approved prior to the first day of classes for each semester.
*Residents are defined as adults who have lived in Philadelphia for at least 12 months if they moved to Philadelphia from another state, or three months if they moved from another location in Pennsylvania. Documentation may be required.
