 Clothing & Accessory Donation Guidelines 

 

 

Clothing, Accessories and Beauty Products

Monthly Drop Off Locations

  • Curbside assistance available between Clothing Drive hours only for ALL LOCATIONS
  • No appointment necessary during Clothing Drive hours

  • Donation forms available upon request (Donation Receipt)

  • Please NO donations in plastic garbage bags.  Donations should be on hangers or in paper shopping bags.

Center City

Drop-Off Partners in Center City:


Susquehanna Bank -
Rittenhouse Square, 1845 Walnut St, Philadelphia

Drop your items off during lobby hours: 
Mon - Weds:  8am - 5pm, Thurs-Fri: 8am - 6pm, Sat:  9am - 12pm
As always, please put clothing on hangers and place accessories in shopping bags.  NO curbside assistance is available at this location.

The Residences at Dockside
717 S. Christopher Columbus Blvd., Philadelphia

Please pull in through the gate, dial 007 and drop your items off in the Lobby during donation hours:
Mon - Sat:  10am - 5pm
Sunday: 12pm - 5pm
As always, please put clothing on hangers and place accessories in shopping bags.  NO curbside assistance is available at this location.

 The Wardrobe Boutique

  • Donations for The Career Wardrobe and Wardrobe Boutique are accepted at The Wardrobe Boutique, 1822 Spring Garden St by appointment Tuesday through Saturday from 12:00pm to 5:00pm. Please call 215-568-2660 or email us for an appointment. 
    • Closed Sunday and Monday
    • Large donations (ie: more than 10 shopping bags or if you have more than an armful) are requested to be dropped off at The Career Wardrobe (21 South 12th Street) or during the Center City Monthly Clothing Drive where we have the capacity to handle larger donations and volunteers to assist you.

NOTE:  You can now also donate casual, dressy and other items suitable for reselling that are in season and in style to help us raise money for The Career Wardrobe's programs!

 We Accept Work Clothes and Uniforms!

Many of our clients are seeking jobs in the service industry or medical field and require specific items for their training.  Please consider donating these new/gently-used items to help a woman find self-sufficiency and independence!

  • Black pants, scrubs, steel toe boots, polo shirts

    Black, tan, or navy blue khaki pants
  • Steel toe boots 
  • Polo shirts without logo 
  • White shirts 
  • Scrubs without a logo 
  • Nursing shoes
  • Black, non-skid shoes/sneakers
  • Maternity wear - all sizes and styles

The Career Wardrobe is pleased to partner with

  • Toys and Games: special needs: infant toys (rattles, soft toys, etc),basketballs, soccer balls and sporting equipment
