Senator Shirley Kitchen's 2nd Annual Mothers & Daughters Day

Please join The Career Wardrobe's Kristen Voris Kuipers at Senator Shirley Kitchen and Lady-G Enterprises second annual “Mothers & Daughters Day,” an upcoming free informational event to raise awareness about domestic abuse. Kristen will be part of a panel discussing workforce issues.

Mothers and daughters ages 12 and older are invited to attend the event, which takes place on Saturday, Nov. 13 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Honickman Learning Center & Comcast Technology Labs, 1936 Judson St., to learn more about options and resources for abused women and participate in intimate discussions. Parking is available in the lot just beyond the center.

Women do not have to have daughters to participate; all mothers are welcome. Participants must be 12 years or older to attend due to the nature of the discussions.

From 8 a.m. - 8:45 a.m., attendees will receive a commemorative photo of themselves to mark the occasion, so please arrive early.
